Farazollahi’s main focus in his practice is to have a continuous use of spontaneity as a method to build psychological spaces where the images seem constantly in movement and where neither a beginning nor an end are defined. Farazollahi’s conceptual and exploring approach to photography is mainly based around the mediums possibilities to strengthen a physical visuality in each image using a clear and decisive method of production unique to each project.

Behzad Farazollahi, born in Tehran 1978, is an artist and a curator based in Oslo. He is the co-­founder of MELK, an ongoing project-space based in Oslo, that focuses on promoting new Scandinavian photography. Farazollahi has exhibited Internationally in solo & group exhibitions in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, UK, Scotland, Poland, Belgium and Argentina.
